Came across a photo I had taken about 4 or 5 yrs ago of I think the garbha gudi of someshwara temple in Kolar. As I do with most of my photos, up loaded it on Panoramio and the lens flare websites. I was pleasantly surprised to find the same photo being used by the Kannada daily newspaper "Vijaya Karanataka" in its local news section about Kolar. I did compare the clouds behind the photo and it is exactly the same. I was happy in a sense to find my photo being used by a newspaper, but was also annoyed at the same time as they had not taken my permission, so is this copyright infringement? can I sue the news paper?.
